Quantic Dream Doesn't Want to Release Big Game on Nintendo Switch yet - Quantic Dream split from PlayStation in 2019 now ready to attract more players on more platforms. Recently, the Paris-based developer confirmed that in the future they will continue to provide support for the Nintendo Switch. Even so, Quantic Dream has no plans to bring their old games to the hybrid console so far.
After working with Sony for PlayStation exclusive games from 2006 to 2018, Quantic Dream decided to stop the partnership and stand alone as an independent publisher. One of the newest games they have managed to publish - which isn't PlayStation exclusive - is Sea of Solitude: Director's Cut which rolled out for the Nintendo Switch earlier this year.
To Nintendo Everything, Head of Publishing for Quantic Dream - Guillaume de Fondaumiere said that his team was "ready to explore new platforms and take on more challenges". However, when asked about the idea of bringing their big games to the Nintendo Switch via port or cloud (like Doom Eternal), Fondaumiere said that for now games like Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy Rain will remain exclusive. on PC and PlayStation.
In addition to information about support on non-PlayStation platforms, Quantic Dream recently opened a new studio in Montreal to work on their next ambitious project.
