Instagram Presents Feature To Block DM - A while ago, a soccer player from England voiced his frustration about racist DM (Direct Message) that entered his Instagram. Instagram immediately swiftly developed a new feature to block DM that aims to harass its users.
In a new blog post on Instagram, they explained that the most malicious comments came from DM requests. Although requests need to be approved before they can communicate with each other with the recipient of the message, many people are often annoyed by this.
This is what makes Instagram develop a new feature to filter out various DMs that are harassing users. Users can activate this new feature by accessing the Privacy Settings under the name "Hidden Words" and Instagram will immediately block all annoying messages, making them invisible until you tap into the message to "reply", "report", or it even "erased" it.
Not only that, Instagram will also create an account that has been blocked by you to make it harder to find you. The alter account created by them will be immediately blocked by Instagram so they can't find you again. Unfortunately Instagram does not explain how they can find new accounts from the bully.
