Tales of Arise: New Information, Release Dates, and Editions
What does Bandai Namco offer?
Tales of ARISE is one of the latest Tales of series that Bandai Namco is preparing for the next iteration. Since it was announced, they haven't provided any information other than the main story and how the game will be played.
But after waiting for a long time, today the Japanese developer has finally provided a lot of information that his fans have been waiting for. We have summarized it through the following points:
New Visual
Bandai Namco created Tales of ARISE with a new visual interface they call "Atmospheric Shader" which brings a "hand drawn" touch to the graphics. A new world with various areas to explore and additional effects and attacks during battle.
New Platform and Release Date
Tales of ARISE gets a new addition to the platform after previously being planned for release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Now the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S are another added platform.
Players who buy it on the PlayStation 4 will get a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5.
The game is planned for release on September 9, 2021 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S in Southeast Asia. While the PC version will be released on September 10, 2021 via Steam.
Southeast Asia Edition
Just like other Bandai Namco games, Tales of ARISE has various versions. The first is pre-orders and a day one that provides costumes for Alphen and Shionne, complete with accessories and recipes / ingredients.
The next editions are Deluxe and Ultimate. Deluxe will add a Premium Item Pack containing gold, items for cooking, and boosts, a Premium Costume Pack containing eight costumes and six accessories, and a Premium Travel Pack which allows players to have better cooking and crafting skills and discounts when buying items at the shop.
Ultimate will contain all the content from Deluxe with the addition of new costumes from other Bandai Namco games.
While the physical edition, the Collector Edition, will contain all the content on Ultimate with the exclusive figurine, Steelbook, Artbook, and the game's official Soundtrack. This edition is only available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and is only sold in select stores in Southeast Asia.
It doesn't stop there, Bandai Namco has also prepared an exclusive and limited Hootle Edition only at the official Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia store. This edition will contain games (PS4 / PS5), metal case, artbook, soundtrack, Hootle plush with four accessories, Hootle DLC, stickers, and three art prints.
Tales of ARISE is scheduled to be released on September 9, 2021 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S in Southeast Asia. While the PC version will be released on September 10, 2021 via Steam.
